Les Eyre is a brilliant northern based trainer who’s stables are in the scenic region of Beverley, Yorkshire. He's been training horses for many years now and is well known for his classic Ebor win with 'Far Ahead'. A very friendly stable with a no nonsense attitude, they are very welcoming and are consistently producing winners. Les is incredibly easy to work with, a very down to earth trainer, who is always willing to work with us to ensure our owners have the best opportunities. Being that he started his interest in racehorses through ownership, he understands exactly what people want to see and makes everyone’s experience a very enjoyable one. The stable itself is currently home to around 20 horses in total, but is home to some very talented individuals including ‘Cote D’azur’ a recent winner of the ‘Thirsk hunt cup class 2 handicap’. All of the staff at Les’ stable come highly recommended and take the highest care with all of the yard’s horses. He’s a very patient trainer and will always give each horse the time they need to ensure that they turn up in top form and most importantly have safe trips when they get there. The stable itself is a lovely, red brick, barn style building, where the horses get to look out across the garden and it’s quite a relaxing environment for them to be in. Les believes that relaxed, happy horses are always more willing when it comes to their work and races.
As with all our trainers they will go wherever a suitable race comes up for each individual horse however below is a list of their most visited tracks –
